Hello! Welcome to Year 1!

We are going to have fun this year and learn lots of new and exciting things. When you come to Year 1, you will study lots of interesting topics. We start off learning about where our food comes from and make a healthy breakfast. We hope to visit Hartlebury Museum where we find out about toys from the past and we make our very own class museums. You will find out about different animals from all over the world and learn about Africa. In Year 1 we love to read and work hard during Phonics so that we can tackle lots of tricky words. We also love writing in Year 1 and solving problems in Maths and learning outside the classroom at every opportunity.

The arrangements for Year One are: 8.45 am start. Enter as usual via service road entrance onto year one playground and drop children at their classroom door. Collect using same route at 3.15.
