Linked to our key texts of 'A Bit Lost' by Chris Haughton and 'Owl Babies' by Martin Waddell, the Nursery Children have explored sensory storytelling, using story stones, puppets and small world sets linked to the characters in the books.
To extend their cultural capital we also learnt about two famous artists; Pablo Picasso and John Ruskin and their artistic representations of birds and feathers.
In maths we have developed our subitising skills, counting and sorting eggs! We have also developed our sorting and matching skills.
The children continue to tune into environmental sounds, linked to their early phonetic development and listening skills.
