A Visit From Poet Spoz!08/03/2024

World Book Day has been celebrated this week with an amazing visit from the published poet and author Spoz.

He delivered a different performance and workshop for every year group and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

They wrote poems, sang songs and even performed some raps!

Having a working author in school is such a valuable experience for the children as meeting them can increase children's interest in books, help them understand how books are produced and boost the confidence of any aspiring writers we have in school.
