Welcome to the Ducklings
Early Years at Meadows, offers outstanding nursery care to children aged 3 - 4. Our desire is to empower the children and to ignite enthusiasm and excitement in our children's early experiences. We aim to provide children with a wealth of play-based activities that encourage and promote curiosity and independence. Our vision is to develop a nurturing, thriving and fun-filled environment which recognises each child as unique and individual. We use our outside classroom as an extension of our indoor play - we believe that children should be outside as much as possible and we hope that our forest school and outdoor classroom invites children to fully explore their surroundings and engage with nature. We work closely with parents to be supportive and welcoming.

Applications for Nursery Places September 2025 are now open. Please collect an application form from our main office.
Stay and Play times for Nursery Starters September 2025 -
We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Ducklings Class at Meadows First School Nursery. Those children allocated a space with us in September 2025 are invited to a stay and play session on either Monday 23rd June or Monday 7th July from 3.45-4.30pm. You will receive your September settling-in sessions during this visit.
Children due to start in September are invited to an after school stay and play session to familiarise themselves with the Nursery Classroom and Teachers. These are bookable sessions, if you have not received any information regarding this, please contact Miss Bailey directly via email, ducklings@meadows.worcs.sch.uk. The children due to start in September will have further settling in sessions, Wednesday 3rd September to Friday 5th Sptember, they will begin their requested sessions from Monday 8th September 2025.

Forest School Sessions currently run every Thursday Morning.
Nursery Places for this academic have now been allocated, currently all of our Nursery Sessions are full, if you are interested in a nursery place and would like to be added to the waiting list please contact the school office. Please keep looking at this page as we update it with more information for you over the coming year.
