Special Educational Needs
At Meadows First School, we are committed to ensuring that every child can access high-quality education and thrive. As a Gold Rights Respecting School, we uphold the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), particularly Article 23 (children with disabilities have the right to live a full and decent life) and Article 28 (the right to education).
We believe that all children, regardless of their individual needs, have the right to feel included, respected, and supported. Our approach focuses on removing barriers to learning, celebrating diversity, and providing tailored support so every child can achieve their potential. Working in partnership with families and external agencies, we ensure that pupils with additional needs receive the care, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
